Eight local youths took home awards for their skiing and snowboarding prowess on Saturday, February 26th at Ski Bradford in Haverhill in the finals of the “Freestyle Jam” competition sponsored by Jaffarian Scion Toyota, NOTB, SkiHaus and Ski Bradford. The competition consisted of one rail-jam contest, two big-air contests and two slope-style contests held over five Saturdays from January 22nd to February 26th. Prizes were awarded to the top two skiers and snowboarders in the under-14 and 14-and-over age groups, as well as best overall skier and snowboarder.
